I've owned and managed a number of businesses, hiring & interviewing hundreds of employees throughout those experiences, but Dustin stands out among the rest for all that he brings to the table in terms of his skill set and mindset as it relates to doing his job.
We have collaborated on a number of projects side-by-side, and I've contracted Dustin out for various tasks and campaigns over the last few years. I have been thoroughly impressed by his ability to quickly understand the scope of the project or the problem that we are trying to solve, his knack for listening intently and asking very good questions, thinking critically about outside the box solutions, and his ability to execute. I've performed better and had far greater clarity on creative projects for having worked with Dustin--on the projects we've collaborated on and beyond. Of course, he brings a great deal more to the equation than simply ideas and discussion. He's a phenomenally talented, creative force who is able to produce very high quality work, be self-critical of his work, and delicately balance the space between perfectionism and cutting corners. He accurately assesses the needs of the project and has consistently delivered nearly exactly what was needed without requiring a super detailed creative brief, tons of revisions and suggestions, or any outside oversight.
